Sitting & Befriending Coordinator, ruils

Salary: £23,000 per annum pro rata

Ruils are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join their dynamic team.
In this role you will be working with young people and children with additional needs and their families. You will support them by matching them with a Befriender who will go out with the young person enabling them to try new activities and gain new skills. You will also recruit and train Befrienders.
Ruils have been delivering this service in Richmond for many years, but are now expanding it in to Kingston. You will be responsible for launching this established service in Kingston.  
The role is varied and interesting. It is 21 hours per week and there are also opportunities for home working.
Applications are welcomed from candidates with a wide range of backgrounds and Ruils has a guaranteed interview scheme for candidates with a disability who meet the minimum requirements of the role. Parents with children/young people with disabilities and additional needs are encouraged to apply and can be offered flexibility in the role.
