Volunteering Services

For Volunteers

There are many ways to start volunteering and find out how you can get involved in your local community.

If you have already registered, please log in

If you are a new volunteer, please Register here with Volunteer Connect.  You will then be able to:

  • Search and apply online for volunteer roles across Richmond Borough
  • Manage your profile
  • Sign up to the Volunteer Bank and organisations will be able to look up your details and contact you if they have a role that fits your interests.

This is a great way to explore volunteer roles, especially if you clearly know what kind of role you like.

Call us on 020 8843 7940 to make an appointment with a volunteer adviser who will be able to help you explore which volunteering roles might suit you.

We have a drop-in centre at Richmond Adult Community College and other locations across the borough where you can come in and have an initial chat with an adviser.  Click here to find out where we will be over the next couple of months.

Perhaps you are interested in volunteering but don't think you have the time? Follow the link here for a few ideas on how you can help your local community. Volunteering for Busy People.

Our volunteering service is aimed at people who are 18+.  If you are a little younger and would like to volunteer, please read the attached information and guidance sheet on Volunteering for Young People.
