Organisations
The Volunteer Centre handles over 2,000 enquiries each year from people interested in volunteering, who we match to the organisations and opportunities registered with us.
If you are a voluntary, community or public organisation offering services to people living, working or studying in Richmond upon Thames, you can register your volunteering opportunities with the Volunteer Centre database to ensure that people interested in volunteering can find out more about you.
You can also take advantage of the advice, training and support available to your organisation from members of the Volunteer Centre team.
Registering with the Volunteer Centre
The Volunteer Centre can be the first point of contact for people interested in volunteering. We also actively promote volunteering to different groups of people, for example colleges, businesses and community groups. To advertise a vacancy with us, you firstly need to register your organisation with the Volunteer Centre. Click
here to download the form.
Once your organisation is registered, you can advertise any number of different opportunities with us. Click here to download the form for this.
Once we receive back your completed forms, we will transfer this information
onto our database and then promote this opportunity through a variety of
routes, including via the web, and will provide your contact details to volunteers
who show an interest in your organisation. If you have any questions or would
like to discuss the process in more detail please call a member of the team
on 0845 675 1234 or email volunteer@richmondcvs.org.uk
Advice, training and supportThe Volunteer Centre team can also offer you advice and guidance on volunteer management, to help you to recruit, support and retain the volunteers that your organisation needs. You can call us on 0845 675 1234 or email volunteer@richmondcvs.org.uk and we will pass on your enquiry to the team member best able to assist you.
We also run a number of training courses throughout the year, details
of which can be found in the Events section of this website.
Further, we offer specialised support and guidance around involving people
with disabilities as volunteers, including our good practice guide 'Access
All Areas'. If you would like to discuss this area of our work in more depth,
please contact us on 0845 675 1234 to speak to Martin Faiers or Jed Wardley.
