CILS Stakeholders Engagement Event - 17 August 2017
Posted: 03 August 2017

In preparation for the re-commissioning of the Community Independent Living Services (CILS) in 2018, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is co-hosting a Stakeholder Engagement Event with Richmond Council for Voluntary Service.  Please come and share your thoughts on the service and how it could be developed.
This stakeholder engagement event aims to bring together Richmond voluntary and community sector organisations, in particular all who refer in to these services or receive referrals from CILS, including organisations that are directly involved in CILS.
The meeting will take place on Thursday 17 August 2017, 10.00am to 12:30pm at Richmond Adult Community College.
It is an an early opportunity to:
  • have your views heard by Council Commissioners
  • explore key service themes, such as what services form part of CILS, referrals and access to the services
  • influence the future the service model
  • help steer the later stages of the stakeholder engagement process.

The results from the event will be used to develop an online stakeholder survey and to inform plans for the procurement of CILS services.

The meeting will be led by members of the Department of Adult Social Services Commissioning Team (Richard Wiles, Head of Commissioning Prevention and Wellbeing Services and Juliana Braithwaite, Commissioning Officer Prevention and Wellbeing services) and RCVS.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP by Tuesday 15 August 2017 by emailing us at or calling us on 020 8843 7945.
